Because of their inteligence, goldendoodles are very trainable, and usually very friendly and affectionate with people and other pets.  As with any breed, they have different personalities from puppy to puppy, but are for the most part calm and easy going.  They tend to be great family pets and great with children.  Like personalities, their coat types and colors can be as varied.  Coat types may include a straight coat (flat and resembles more of a golden retriever), a wavy coat (a mixture of poodle's curls and the golden retriever's coat), or curly (one like the poodle coat).  Their colors range from shades of red, blonde, black, brown, or party (multi-colored).  It's size is somewhere between the size of it's parents.  Although not all goldendoodles exhibit non-shedding coats, most are low to non-shedding and make an excellent breed for those with alergies.  They require opportunities to exercise, and some grooming is required (based on the coat type).
